Resources for Extra Pure

I have created a short version of The Knowledge for Extra Pure: The Knowledge and Answers

There are four good sources of practice questions for Extra Pure revision.

Number 1 - Past Papers

There are only 11 past and practice papers in total - you should save most of these until nearer to the actual A Levels. For now just use Practice Papers 1 and 2. All past papers are available at THIS GOOGLE DRIVE. You can use the Past Paper Packs below to get lots of extra practice. The OCR specification is different but I have used relevant questions from these papers in the packs below.

Number 2 - Past Paper Question Packs

I have put together selections of past paper questions from both old and new specifications that should still provide excellent practice. These do not include any current specification MEI questions, as you should try to attack these as full papers.

These packs mainly consist of pre-2018 questions - use these as much as you want:

  • Groups: Groups 1 with Mark Schemes and Groups 2 with Mark Schemes
  • Matrices: Matrices 1 with Mark Schemes and Matrices 2 with Mark Schemes
  • Multi-Variable Calculus: MVC with Mark Schemes
  • Recurrence Relations (short on questions): RR with Mark Schemes

    • These packs are made up of post-2018 OCR and Edexcel papers - only use these once you have finished the others:

  • Groups: Groups with Mark Schemes
  • Matrices: Matrices with Mark Schemes
  • Multi-Variable Calculus: MVC with Mark Schemes
  • Recurrence Relations: RR with Mark Schemes

    • Number 3 - Integral

    Most of the Integral resources are readily available to you, but I have put the Section Tests with the solutions in the Classwork section of Teams.

    Number 4 - Textbooks

    The following provide plenty of extra questions, but I'm afraid I only have the answers for the multi-variable calculus questions.
